When I organised our own documents, everything looked filed and tidy. Nothing in our life insurance policy said it was out of date. The date on it did: written before we bought this house, before our second child arrived. The cover hadn't moved, and our life had.

Reads what is inside
A file is a file. Its contents are invisible to the folder holding it: a file name for an expired policy looks exactly the same as a current one.
Tribu reads the document as it goes in and pulls the detail out: what is covered, for how much, until when. The numbers surface without you typing them anywhere.
Knows which version is current
Upload a new version and you now have two files. The old one sits there looking exactly as valid as the new one.
Upload a new version and Tribu recognises the document it replaces, then asks whether to archive the old one. One current copy, with the history kept behind it.
Makes sense to someone who is not you

Becoming a parent changed how I thought about responsibility. Suddenly, the practical things that protect a family felt just as important as the emotional ones.

Like many families, ours wasn't disorganised. Our information was simply scattered.
As I spoke to more families, I realised it wasn't just us. Life had become too complicated for any one person to hold it all in their head.

That's why I'm building Tribu.
